天下offer甚多，然而争offer之人亦甚多。以十人争一offer，吾知其必有失意者。Offer有数等，等内有优劣，有肥瘦，有难易，有可得不可得。近人多尚投行、咨询，此二类offer绝少，势不必论。次之则四大。然则四大之尊贵，似又不及宝洁、马士基等。

窃以为欲争天下者，及急欲养家者，皆应以四大为根本。何哉？四大之人，遍历中外企业，于财务金融之流岂有不知者？以此历练五六年，徐图天下，则CFO之位不足取也。有烂熟行业者，又可为行业分析师，所以争天下者不可不取四大。

宝洁强生，各据州郡，称霸一方；虚心历练，不十年亦可称霸诸侯。然则无意快消者，必不安于宝洁；无意医疗者，终不安于强生；至于联合利华、雀巢诸家，地位近之，虽俸禄不薄，然需专精于一事。所以不如四大之可攻可守，游刃有余也。

马士基则不然，虽其俸禄不厚，兼三江五洋之利，其家臣多以四海为家，不拘于一国一地矣。欧莱雅亦然，此其所以不同于消费品诸家也。

近世人多言石油公司，如壳牌BP之属。然而石油价昂，终不可持久；不可持久，则需顾念日后。壳牌之属可强言优于快消，然则欲与四大类比，吾不知何者优而何者劣。

四大商行，皆专方面，意气昂昂，仿佛天下皆在囊中。然则四大行有国企之名而无中石油、中移动垄断之利，其领域将沦陷于外资商行；且不良贷款盘根错节，高层亦不得力，较之四大，不啻天壤之别矣。

垄断国企亦然爽矣。而公务员则不然，汝若无雄厚背景，阴险手腕，自难得志，唯图安稳一。

欧莱雅一面

感觉真是...自己一向自认为想象力丰富,很适合欧莱雅的风格,于是小抱着一点希望,愣愣的做了一个小时的公车去到广外,参加下午4点的面试.之前也在网上搜了一下欧莱雅的面试过程,感觉是很有趣的那种,今天一见,果然欧的人力有一套.我们组十一个人,等了一小会儿就被带进面试室.首先每人发个号码配上,然后进去,发现欧莱雅的面试官的确与众不同,一个青年一个上了年纪的老太,服装一般,都没穿正装,一开始我还以为他们只是工作人员呢!年纪大的那个说我们组就不采用抽取卡片的方式了,自己从身上选取一件东西来介绍自己.我愣了,身上实在是没带什么东西啊.还是广外那个牛人,直接站起来就英语Blabla,他的却才思敏捷,用自己的香水来讲,有意思.接着有人讲自己的饰物,有人用自己的着装,有人甚至提起了鞋来讲...个人认为那些都没什么创意.我也实在没什么能讲,就用了钥匙扣来讲,唉,丢人!

然后就是第二环节,面试官说欧莱雅如果是一种动物,就用凤凰来讲,应该是怎样的.我们分组讨论,被带到不同的房间,给几张白纸和彩笔,十分钟时间,剩下的就是自己发挥了.我首先提议采用一种广告的形式来进行,得到支持,然后就是大家提意见,说自己的看法,群策群力.最后勉强作出了我们组的作品.然后回到面试室,两组开始Presentation,然后相互PK,最后HR又问如果给你们想象,欧莱雅应该是一种什么动物,另一组统一就是说应该是猫,因为它有一种神秘感,有人说是马,我腼腆地说了应该是热带鱼...汉,要我说理由,随便胡诌了几句,唉...

最后就是礼节性的道别,说是今晚十一点前会有通知,明天二面.现在已是23:23了,看来我又...

我们这里有“敬惜字纸”的民间传统，凡有字墨的纸张，自带有神性，不得随意抛弃、践踏或包裹污秽之物，有的地方还建有“惜字亭”，搞“火葬”，以火将之送上天界。当然，这是古时的雅事，放到当今，就没有这样的好待遇了。　　有知名的银行在中山大学宣讲，现场不少的学生投了简历，求职者第二天发现，一大堆简历被扔在角落里，其中也有自己的，于是表示“气愤”和“无奈”，指责招聘单位的“缺德”（昨日《羊城晚报》）。　　简历相当于个人人格的浓缩载体，上面有姓名、有个人身体状况、有家庭成员的名字，有的还附有女学生最出彩的生活照，被随意地抛扔，乃至践踏，对人格确实是一种不敬。乡村的传统，自己的名字如果被别人踩，那是顶不吉利的事，相当于被人扇耳刮子的屈辱。招聘单位的这种轻怠做法，虽不是有意羞辱，但也是无心的伤害，非常的不 “以人为本”，缺少情义的含量。民谚说，“人情薄如纸”，倒像是有先见之明的谶语；民谚又说，“秀才人情纸半张”，大概是明理的读书人之间的情谊，也就是纸上的笔墨往返，没有太大分量，现在看来，与国际接轨的商业银行，不看重这样迂腐的秀才人情，相当于是到学校来购物的，不合的，弃之如敝屣。　　这还是对个人信息的损害行为。简历中，个人的电话号码、Email等通讯方式，家里的住址，父母的工作单位、联系方式，身份证号码，以及现代人最看重的身体健康状况、血型、已婚者配偶的信息等，合盘托出，如此随意地处理，被人获取的话，等于是给当事人酝酿麻烦。利用别人的身份证作奸犯科，对事主的手机进行一对一的诈骗，这样的事，我们见得不少。银行应该知道，泄露客户信息是失职的行为，同理，随意处理求职者的信息，当然也是一种过失。《中华人民共和国个人信息保护法》专家建议稿已经出台，保护的范围不仅是个人隐私，还包括手机号码、家庭住址、医药档案等，侵害他人个人信息，可能会承担行政责任、民事责任或刑事责任。　　所以说，招聘单位面对简历，还是要有“敬惜字纸”的传统，否则的话，也可能会招来麻烦。单位里肯定有碎纸机，一碎了事，当事人眼不见心不烦，宁为千刀万剐的“ 纸碎”，不为随意践踏的“瓦全”，这也算是艰难求职的学子对自己脸面的一点回护。至于说，找工太难，简历太多，堆积如山，处理不完，是整个社会都头疼的事，看来，真的要拨专款重修“惜字亭”了。

General Introduction*
I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.
Education backgroundIn 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. Research experience and academic activity
When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. In 1997, I participated in simulation tool development for the scheduling system in Prof. Wang’s lab. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. In 1998, I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
In 1999, I joined the distinguished Professor Yu-Geng Xi's research group aiming at Network flow problem solving and Heuristic algorithm research. Soon I was engaged in the FuDan Gene Database Design. My duty was to pick up the useful information among different kinds of gene matching format. Through the comparison and analysis for many heuristic algorithms, I introduced an improved evolutionary algorithm -- Multi-population Genetic Algorithm. By dividing a whole population into several sub-populations, this improved algorithm can effectively prevent GA from local convergence and promote various evolutionary orientations. It proved more efficiently than SGA in experiments, too. In the second semester, I joined the workshop-scheduling research in Shanghai Heavy Duty Tyre plant. The scheduling was designed for the rubber-making process that covered not only discrete but also continuous circumstances. To make a balance point between optimization quality and time cost, I proposed a Dynamic Layered Scheduling method based on hybrid Petri Nets. The practical application showed that the average makespan was shortened by a large scale. I also publicized two papers in core journals with this idea. Recently, I am doing research in the Composite Predict of the Electrical Power system assisted with the technology of Data Mining for Bao Steel. I try to combine the Decision Tree with Receding Optimization to provide a new solution for the Composite Predictive Problem. This project is now under construction.
Besides, In July 2000, I got the opportunity to give a lecture in English in Asia Control Conference (ASCC) which is one of the top-level conferences among the world in the area of control and automation. In my senior year, I met Prof. Xiao-Song Lin, a visiting professor of mathematics from University of California-Riverside, I learned graph theory from him for my network research. These experiences all rapidly expanded my knowledge of English and the understanding of western culture.
I hope to study in depth
In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

莫名其妙的陶氏面试通知

称其为莫名其妙真不为过，因为我查了一下职位申请记录，好像根本就没申过，不过既然来了，就去玩玩。最近算是郁闷不小，投了一堆简历，次次遭鄙视，连次笔试的机会都还没有过呢，算是奇迹了，以后怎么混呢？真是应了同学一句话：投我的简历，让人家面试去吧！

P&G CBD 一面

今天就算去一面了，没什么感觉，就是比去年好一点，但希望还是彻底没有啊。一面P&G面试官都是很好的，一点都不会感觉约束，所以很放松，而且这次是个可爱MM，进去握手介绍后就开始了，说是给我20分钟，后来算了一下时间，大概也差不多吧。就问了经典8题中的3个，我也没怎么多想，就随口说了。反正就那样，懒得刻意去表现和发挥，希望那个MM可以体会。后来就我的简历问了一下我的实习项目情况，我也轻描淡写地说了一下。好像最后问我理想的工作地点的时候，我毫不犹豫就说出了心里话，上海。结果。。。。唉，后来想想，就这点我就算是完蛋了。你来广州面试确想去上海，那你还来干什么？所以我说希望还是没有啊。不过总体感觉确实是比去年那个GG要好许多，今天没有不自在的感觉。呵呵。面都面了，多想也无益，提笔纪念，钦此。

置行头找工作

真的到时间找工作了,还一件像样的行头都没有呢,后天又到宝洁一面了,再不能像去年那样一身休闲就去了,这次机会怎么也要抓一抓,更何况以后还有很多这样的机会呢,所以终于决定搞点像样的行头,今天付诸实践了,买不起西服,就衬衣凑合了,买了皮鞋,西裤,腰带.唉,花了大概600RMB,实在难以承受了,现在的物价.就这样算了,以后还要生活呢.冬天要冷就多穿内衣外面套衬衫得了,幸好广州也不会太冷,所以非万不得已,Suit能不买就不买了.说到西装革履,感觉现在还真不适合我,太拘谨了,不自由,不合我性格,唉,先不想那么多了,走半天路累死,早点睡觉了.

又遭鄙视

时到现在已经证明我被保利彻底鄙视了,还真后悔自己当初没有先鄙视之,今晚去了联合利华的宣讲会，一如其他宣讲会的无聊，信息量为零。唉，真是的。会上坐我旁边一个校友，化学本科的，听说今天下午BP笔试了，又被鄙视了。看来还是不要太多期望了，呵呵。还有强生，好像宣讲会都开过了，我连一点消息都没有，不会？难道？

今天去了,因为就在学校里,感觉它的发展的确是太快了,每年各项指标都已100%的速度增长,前途的确看好,不知道我有没有希望.等消息吧，很快乐。

又是一年校园招聘开始了，今天去了P&G的英才见面会，还好是在本校，要不就麻烦了，我这么懒。感觉今年的会没有去年的有意思，就是几个人在那介绍一通，可能是去年刚来学校人生地不熟的缘故吧。不过今年可是有礼品送阿，都是宝洁的产品，有海飞丝洗发水一小瓶，一小瓶润发膏，一块肥皂盒一小块香皂，还有一贴玉兰油面膜，甚至还有一包卫生巾！没用赶紧送人了，呵呵。今年好像工资又涨了，研究生一月8200RMB，14个月一年，算起来又10W年薪了。据说Mars最高了，今天才知道，长见识了。不过光想没用，要去得了啊。15号笔试，又得去华南理工，远啊，幸好现在有地铁直达。还记得去年去笔试乘了一个半小时的车，晕死了。但最好是不用考了，不知道行不行，到时候问一下，真要考的话还不一定过呢。反正找工作的路慢慢长远，就忍了。刚刚收到Shell的拒信，心里有点不爽，感觉是自己实习和经验太少了人家看不上。算了，在看其他的吧。祝天下学子都能找到如意工作！
